the effects of supplementary irrigation on yield and water use efficiency of three new wheat (triticum aestivum l.) cultivars
Authors
abstract
two-year experiments was conducted to find the effect of value and times of supplementary irrigation on water requirement and yield production of three new wheat cultivar namely (‘w33g’, ‘cross alborz’ and ‘bahar’) in three replicate randomized complete block factorial experiments since 2009-11. experiments were performed at the campus of agriculture and natural resources of razi university lysimetery research station no. 1. all treatments were irrigated with the same amount of water until flowering stage but the times and the value of supplementary irrigation was different in four treatments based on experiment design at next stages. supplementary irrigation during the flowering, seedling and both conditions were applied, by observation 50 percent of flowering and seedling starting, respectively. the results showed that the highest supplementary irrigation contribution in the first and second year of study was 27.5 and 26.1 percent of total water use respectively. in the first and the second year of this study, the highest average yield production was obtained for ‘cross alborz’ under flowering and seedling supplementary irrigation treatments with 4681 and 4804 kg.ha-1, respectively.

The Effect of Different Amounts of Irrigation and Planting Methods on Water Use Efficiency, Grain Yield and Some Physiological and Biochemical Traits of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
This research was conducted at the research field of West-Azerbaijan (Saatloo station, 45° 10′ 53˝ E/ 37° 44′ 18˝ N and 1338 m above sea level), located 25 km from Urmia city (Iran) during 2019-2020 cropping seasons, as a factorial layout based on randomized complete block design with three replications. The first factor was irrigation regime at three levels (supplying 100, 75 and 50% of net ir...

In order to study the effects of supplementary irrigation and nano iron oxide on the grain yield, and some physiological and biochemical traits of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under rain fed conditions, a factorial experiment was conducted based on a randomized complete block design with three replications in Agricultural Research Station of Ardabil, Northwest of Iran, in 2016. Factors inclu...

proper use of water resources in arid and semi-arid regions is important and vital. this study was conducted to evaluate the effect of irrigation scheduling by various methods on crop yield and water use efficiency (wue) by wheat, and determining suitable irrigation-scheduling method for irrigation of wheat in saeedabad, tabriz. a field experiment was conducted with 10 irrigation treatments (i1...
full textVernalisation Response of Some Winter Wheat Cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.)
For 17 cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) different vernalisation and photoperiod responses were detected. The effect of photoperiod sensitivity was not significantly changed by vernalisation; different vernalisation responses were probably due to the presence of multiple alleles at Vrn loci. The delay in heading depended on the vernalisation deficit exponentially: y = parameter (...
